Jo STETTEN a native Polish hotel veteran has started his international hospitality career in 1974.
After graduation in hotel management in Cologne / Germany he worked his way up the ranks in major hotel companies such as Hilton, Holiday Inn, ACCOR, and some other independent top class hotels like the Tschuggen Grand Hôtel in Arosa in Switzerland.
Jo worked in several countries and looks back on a career having been performing as Hotel General Manager on three continents. In SE Asia since 1995 he specialized in hotel openings in Vietnam and since 1999 in Thailand.
In 2001 Jo was founder of the renowned Art Café Pattaya which set new culinary and social scene heights in the Eastern Seaboard community. Art Café was the first restaurant in the region introducing Mediterranean cuisine. In addition to the culinary attractions, the painting gallery featuring originals and reproductions and regular art exhibitions were drawing patrons’ interest.
Since 2009 Jo has been working for View Talay Villas in Jomtien/Pattaya, Thailand a resort style village with over 200 pool villas. At the View Talay Villas, the so-called Beverly Hills of the Eastern Seaboard region, Jo worked in both functions: as General Manager of the hotel section as well as the Estate Manager.
Since September 2011 Jo, founded together with his spouse Wannee aka Nee the exclusive property services by STETTCO Co., Ltd., which successfully operated their office in Thepprasit Road, Jomtien. The company served comprehensively the many real estate owners who mostly do not live permanently in Thailand, by managing their houses and apartments. In addition to the real estate services the company enlarged their service fields by adding corporate services to their portfolio, which range from company formation, government licenses, work permits, visa, accountancy and yearly balance sheets. The company is also a licensed insurance broker.
Consequently, in 2018 the company rebranded into exclusive service partners – ESP STETCO Co., Ltd.
In October 2020 the offices moved to new and modern premises in View Talay Project 1 B which offers ample parking space and a very friendly neighborhood.
